Dr. Ismat Jahan Lima

Dr. Ismat Jahan Lima is Bangladesh’s first female colorectal surgeon. She holds an MBBS, BCS (Health), and FCPS (Surgery) with a Gold Medal, as well as an MS in Colorectal Surgery. Dr. Lima is an Assistant Professor of Colorectal Surgery at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College & Hospital. She regularly provides consultations and treatments at Islami Bank Hospital, Mirpur, and the Colorectal & Pelvic Floor Center. Her practicing hours at Islami Bank Hospital, Mirpur are from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Saturdays, Mondays, and Wednesdays. At the Colorectal & Pelvic Floor Center, she sees patients from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
