Dr. Md. Azharul Islam

Dr. Md. Azharul Islam graduated in 1984 from Mymensingh Medical College and completed his post-graduation (FCPS) in Anaesthesia in 1994. Following this, he served in various roles in the Anaesthesia Department at BSMMU and Bangladesh Medical College, progressing from Assistant Professor to Consultant. Dr. Azhar also gained international experience as a Specialist at Jeddah Maternity & Children’s Hospital, a 300-bed tertiary care center under the Ministry of Health, Saudi Arabia. Prior to joining Apollo Hospitals Dhaka, he had been practicing as a Consultant in Cardiac Anaesthesia and General Anaesthesia in the private sector since November 2006.
