Dr. Md. Bahauddin Malik is a renowned Eye Specialist based in Dhaka, with extensive expertise in cataract surgery. He holds an MBBS from Dhaka, a Diploma in Ophthalmology (DO), and a Master’s degree in Ophthalmology from Vienna. Throughout his career, Dr. Malik has performed over 50,000 cataract surgeries using various techniques, including ICCE, ECCE, SICS, and PHACO. He completed hands-on training in SICS at GM Eye Hospital in Coimbatore, India, in 1999 and advanced training in PHACO surgeries at the National Institute of Ophthalmology (NIO), Dhaka, in 2005.

Dr. Malik has actively participated in both national and international ophthalmology conferences. He attended major conferences in New Delhi, Nairobi, and Dubai in 1986, 1990, and 2004, respectively, as well as regional conferences held in India, Singapore, and Thailand.
