Dr. Md. Shayedat Ullah

Dr. Md. Shayedat Ullah is a dedicated Endocrinologist specializing in diabetes, thyroid, and hormone-related disorders. He earned his MBBS degree from Sher-E-Bangla Medical College under the University of Dhaka in 2011. In 2014, he joined the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS Health Cadre) and later pursued a five-year MD residency in Endocrinology and Metabolism at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), successfully obtaining his MD in 2021.

Currently, Dr. Ullah serves as an Endocrinologist in the Department of Diabetes and Endocrinology at Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery, Shahbag, Dhaka. Actively engaged in clinical practice, academics, and research, he has been recognized internationally, holding memberships with the American College of Physicians (MACP-USA) and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology (MACE-USA). He is also a General and Life Member of the Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and Diabetologists of Bangladesh (ACEDB) and the Bangladesh Endocrine Society (BES).

Dr. Ullah specializes in managing various endocrine and metabolic disorders, including uncontrolled and pregnancy-related diabetes, thyroid hormone imbalances, obesity, metabolic syndromes such as fatty liver and weight management, and hormone-related menstrual irregularities, including PCOS. His expertise also extends to perimenopausal syndrome, growth disorders such as short stature and delayed puberty, male health concerns like micropenis, gynecomastia, and sexual dysfunction, as well as osteoporosis, calcium and vitamin D deficiencies, endocrine hypertension, and disorders affecting the hypothalamus, pituitary, and adrenal glands.
