About Dr. Prasanta Kumar Chanda

Dr. Prasanta K. Chanda is a Senior Consultant and Associate Professor in the Department of Cardiac Surgery at the National Heart Foundation Hospital & Research Institute. With over 20 years of experience, he has recently joined Square Hospital as a Senior Consultant in the Cardiac Surgery Department. Dr. Chanda is highly skilled in performing a wide range of cardiac surgeries, including Beating Heart Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG), Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery (MICS), redo cardiac surgeries, aortic surgeries (such as Bentall and David procedures), Total Arch Replacement, and Frozen Elephant Trunk (FET) procedures. He is also recognized as one of the pioneers of the MICS and Aortic Surgery programs in Bangladesh.
