I proudly earned my MBBS degree from Sher-E-Bangla Medical College, Barisal, in 1989, followed by the successful completion of my internship the following year. Since then, I have been dedicated to serving my patients with sincerity and professionalism. My passion for Respiratory Medicine led me to receive a prestigious WHO Scholarship for a Fellowship in Respiratory Medicine at the University of Toronto, Canada, in 2002.

Further advancing my expertise, I obtained the FCPS (Pulmonology) from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS), the highest medical accreditation body in Bangladesh.

My professional journey includes serving at Dhaka Medical College from 2003 to 2007, followed by my tenure at the National Institute of Diseases of the Chest and Hospital (NIDCH), Mohakhali, Dhaka, from 2008 to 2020. In January 2020, I joined Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College, a reputed medical institution in Dhaka. Prior to this, I also served for five years at Wazirpur Upazila Health Complex after joining the 17th BCS in 1997.

With over 32 years of experience in the medical field, I have developed extensive expertise in managing a wide range of respiratory conditions. My areas of interest include Asthma, Allergy, COPD, Tuberculosis, Daytime Somnolence, Snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Nasal Blockage and Runny Nose, Chest Infections, and Lung Cancer. Additionally, I specialize in treating patients experiencing symptoms such as cough, sputum production, hemoptysis, shortness of breath, wheezing, chest tightness, fever, and unexplained weight loss.
